Jan 23 Charlebois Springs Outing

This was an overnight backpacking trip in the Superstition Mountains, from the Peralta Trailhead to Charlebois Springs, a 6.9-mile hike.

The troop starts the hike on Dutchman Trail, #104. Very shortly after, we switch onto Bluff Spring Trail, #235. After a few miles on Bluff Spring, we find an intersection connecting back up with the Dutchman Trail again. This took us to our camp site at Charlebois Springs.

This year the Troop was able to camp in the area closest to the spring. Water was available at the campsite. The weather for this outing was good on Saturday but turned cold and wet for Sunday’s hike back out.
