Troops 323 & 3323 Phoenix Arizona
Our scouts toured the USS Midway, an aircraft carrier that was once the largest ship in the world, in February 2025. After driving to San Diego and visiting the beach, our scouts boarded the USS Midway, learned about its history, and worked on the Aviation Merit Badge! Afterward, we spent the night on the ship and slept in berths. We completed our activities the next day.
Howie constructed several benches for Liberty Wildlife for his Eagle Project in February 2025. On the first day of his project, he led our scouts in painting the cinder blocks we’d use, and adding primer to the wood planks to protect them. On the second day, we moved the materials into place and constructed the benches, after flattening the ground around them so they’d be level.
