Our scouts paddled canoes several miles to their campsite for this September 2023 outing up on the Mogollon Rim. Then they set up camp, swam, paddled some more, cooked dinner, and went to sleep. The outing required much advance planning and we had to borrow the canoes and learn how to use waterproof bags. Afterward, we paddled back across the reservoir, and returned home.

Our scouts hiked several miles into Fossil Creek Canyon in October 2023. They hiked two miles down before setting up camp, swimming in the creek, and cooking dinner for the night. The next day, they packed up their bags and returned home.
